The Grammy producers announced this week that artists will have to release singles and albums until August 31 if they want to compete for the 2020 awards. Lady Gaga has been talking on social media that she is “pregnant with LG6”, her next album , but she doen’t have to rush.
The singer’s name is almost a certain one for next year’s nominee list. The “A Star is Born” soundtrack album, released in October 2018, is eligible for the Grammy’s 2020. This year, due to the deadline, the album was out of consideration and Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper only competed with the song “Shallow”, which won two gramophones.

Billboard points out that “A Star is Born” soundtrack spent four weeks at Billboard 200 – more than any other album in this period of eligibility. Although it may be considered “old” for the next Grammy’s, it will be evaluated. “It would be Gaga’s fourth album with a nomination for Album of the Year”, says Billboard.
The soundtrack was critically acclaimed and entered the list of the best albums of 2018 from Rolling Stone magazine. It was common sense that, if it could be nominated for the 2019 Grammy Awards, “A Star Is Born” soundtrack would have been nominated. So focus on 2020!
