The feud between Kanye West and Drake has a brand new episode. The HipHop-N-More website shared today a new song called “What Would Meek Do?”, where Kanye attacks Drake! In fact, the track is a demo from Pusha-T, however the Kim Kardashian’s husband verses are truly directed to the canadian star.
Kanye raps “I be thinkin’, what would Tupac do? / You be thinkin’ what New Kids On the Block do? / Drizzy wearing Yeezys on the low though / Only repping Nike for promo / The company growing faster than Flo-Jo / And we did it with no logo.”
Drizzy is a moniker for Drake and Yeezys are Kanye West’s shoes, designed by him in a collaboration with Adidas. Guess who’s in talks with Nike to develop a collection? Drake! And that’s what Kanye is talking about on the song! Recently, Drake even made reference to Nike on “Sicko Mode”, Travis Scott’s single, where he raps “Checks over stripes / That’s what we like”.
Last year, the two rappers allegedly had an ugly fight. Kanye West even made it public when he used Twitter to claim he was being “threatened” by Drake. At the time, Drake reinforced the security of his mansion to avoid a possible attack by Kanye. The reason behind the feud would be Adonis, Drake’s son. Apparently, when his existence was still a secret, Drake confessed the story to his former friend Kanye, who spilled the tea to Pusha T – who later used the information on one of his songs!
