Beyoncé released her new film-documentary “Homecoming” on Netflix on the very first minute of April 17th and together with it she also launched a new live album on streaming platforms and online shops. The result of this surprise is exactly what we expect from Queen B: sales from April 17th and 18th were enough to put the record on Billboard Top 10!
“Homecoming: The Live Album” debuted at the seventh place on the Hot 200 with 38 thousand copies sold. According to Billboard, the album could move even higher on the chart over the next week when the record will be a week old and the Hot 200 will be updated.
This is Beyoncé’s 8th time on the Top 10 as a solo artist. Previously she was also ranked with “Everything is Love”, her collaborative album with husband Jay-Z. The album peaked at second place.
