The Spice Girls are about to go back on stage as a group and together with their tour, old stories from the early days of the 1990’s girlband are returning to spotlight.
One of the hottest stories was revealed by Mel B, the Scary Spice, who claimed that, in the past, she had a sexual relationship with Geri Halliwell, the so called Ginger Spice. “We were best friends. It just happened. Have you ever done that?,” she replied to Piers Morgan, british TV presenter, who also made the first and awkward question.
Now, Geri Halliwell’s spokesman Alan Edwards published a new statement on USA TODAY, where he says all the claims made by Scary were “simply not true”. “She (Geri) would like you to know that what has been reported recently is simply not true and has been very hurtful to her family. It has been very disappointing to read about all these rumors again.”
On the same note, Edwards also reassures that Geri’s excitement over the Spice Girls reunion remains the same: “Geri can’t wait to see the girls and all the fans on the tour, have an amazing time with everyone, and make some new memories.”
