HBO’s “Leaving Neverland” documentary revived accusations of alleged pedophilia involving Michael Jackson. While some artists like Oprah Winfrey and Taylor Swift have decided to speak up defending the accusers, others prefer to remain silent. One of them is Drake, who decided to remove the track “Do not Matter to Me”, a collaboration with Michael Jackson of his shows.
“Do not Matter to Me” is on 2018’s “Scorpion” album and features Michael Jackson vocals recorded in 1983. He re-used a song that originally would be a collaboration with Paul Anka but was never released.
According to setlist.fm website, the last time Drake sang this song was on November 18, 2018 – the last date of the “Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour”. This year he returned to Europe with the “Assassination Vacation Tour” and, on the first date, on March 10, the absence was noted.
