When Ariana Grande performed “She Got Her Own” alongside Victoria Monet on the stage of the “Sweetener Tour”, she asked fans for patience because yes, the track would be released. And we’re not going to wait much longer.
“She Got Her Own” was one of the dismissed tracks from the “Dangerous Woman” album and Ariana Grande revealed that she will officially release it next Monday, April 1st, to celebrate the 8th week of “7 Rings” at the top of Billboard Hot 100.
Previously, Ari had announced that the song would be dropped on March 29th, but then she realized it would be impossible:
“Man, let’s drop it tomorrow night Victoria Monet. ‘7 Rings’ is about to be number one for eight weeks and the album might go back to no. 1 too…. we need to celebrate, to be honest! Life too short and too sweet rn”, she wrote.
After that, Victoria herself pointed out that the song could not be released on Friday (29) and would have to be released on Monday, April 1st.
“Word it’s also like …. not mastered or ready or delivered lmaooo. See, this is why i can’t go on Twitter anymore. i get too excited and say shit I shouldn’t. However, monday is soon enough! We love You”, she explained.
